Statement Concerning COVID-19

Dear Customer

As we continue to monitor the latest updates and information about the global COVID-19 outbreak, we wish to inform you that we are taking steps to resume some of our services from the 1st June 2020 (including maintenance visits). Our services will be reviewed on a regular basis and subject to the ongoing government advice.

If you wish to engage us to provide a quote for a new system, such as an Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control or a Thermal Body Temperature Measurement System, please complete our contact form and we will be in touch.

Our additional safety measures will remain in place to ensure we safeguard the health of our employees, our customers and preserve our ability to operate.

Social distancing – We are asking all Engineers to avoid non-essential visits to the office, no lunch breaks to be taken at the office, no engineering group meetings and for all employees to avoid any gatherings.

Temperature – Engineers and Sales will have their temperature taken whenever possible. If in doubt or a high temperature is identified, the individual will be sent home to self isolate.

Vehicle travel – no vehicle sharing.

Preventative Measures prior to entering a premises – Before entering a premises our employees will ask if the customer(s) is self isolating, if they have any symptoms and are there any vulnerable category persons within the premises. If necessary the Engineer will not enter the premises and the visit will be rescheduled. If there is a vulnerable category person present the employee will only enter with the customers consent.

Personal Hygiene – All Engineers and Sales will have antibacterial gel/wipes (as long as we are able to source them). They have been instructed to wash their hands on arriving and leaving a premises whenever possible. Where this is not possible hand gel will be used.

Safe Distance – We ask our customers and Engineers to keep a safe distance from each other (minimum of 2m).

PPE – Where we are able to source them, our Engineers will carry masks, gloves and shoe covers. Although they are not required to wear PPE if keeping a safe distance, they will do so if requested. Please be aware that their ability to follow any request is subject to supply.

Hand Held Devices – The customer will no longer be asked to sign our hand held devices.

Office closed to the public – Our office will not be accepting visitors at this current time. Any payments can be made by bank transfer, over the phone or by posting of cheques. We cannot currently accept cash payments. Any batteries for wireless systems that customers wish to purchase will be posted.

The Turner Diagnostic Centre at Colchester General Hospital

A new purpose-built diagnostic imaging centre has opened at Colchester General Hospital. The Turner Diagnostic Centre, a 23,000 square foot building, integrates key modalities including MRI, PET-CT and nuclear medicine – bringing together clinical expertise, IT and diagnostic capacity under one roof. The innovative concept is designed to streamline care pathways which will result in an

improved patient experience, faster access to diagnostics and the ability to distribute results in a timely way.

The Turner Diagnostic Centre is the result of a partnership between Colchester Hospital University NHS Trust and Alliance Medical, a specialist diagnostic and molecular imaging services provider which has long standing clinical contracts with the Trust and NHS England to provide MRI and PET-CT services.

Panther Security delivered a full security package for this centre including an Intruder Alarm system, CCTV, Access Control and Video Intercom.

Innovation Centre at University of Essex

This brand new building was built with help of £2m funding from the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) to provide business space and start-up support for 50 companies.

Panther Security was chosen for this project and delivered a security package including an Intruder Alarm system and CCTV.
